Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs iPhone 5 | Best Phone

Which Phone is best for you ?

If you are getting ready for a new phone you could be considering the Apple iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as they are both flagship devices. So which one might be right for you?
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has Android Jelly Bean, while the Apple iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6. Both of great and each comes with pros and cons. iOS 6 is the most stable and it is easy to use. iOS devices that are second hand sell well too. The App Store comes with finished apps and there is more than at Google Play. The App Store apps come with cost while over at the Google Play Store they are free, if you don’t mind ads.
Android is always being updated and Jelly Bean was a big jump. However it can be confusing to learn, but it is worth it in the end. iOS are very simple and updates are easy, but on the downside it is restrictive.
Android handsets are excellent for those who want to customise, thanks to ROMs, widgets and launchers. iTunes is not needed either for syncing. iOS users can change their wallpaper along with what ringtone they want, and that’s it for customisation. Android is usually slow for updates that Apple, Apple like to update frequently.
Some of the older devices on Android don’t get updated, so bear this in mind before spending a lot. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is twice the speed of the iPhone, as it has twice the RAM. It comes with a much larger battery of 3100mAh. The device is much larger, but it has the advantage of the S Pen. The Apple iPhone 5 beats the Samsung device when it comes to class; the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a plastic look.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 offers around 35 hours of talk time when on 2G an around 16 on 2G. It comes with the removable battery and has SD card. You cannot get any of this with the Apple iPhone 5.
Both of the handsets come packed with storage but the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 wins as it has SD card support. They both have 8 MP cameras; the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also has a 1.9 on the front, in comparison to the 1.2 of the Apple iPhone 5. Both devices support LTE along with HSPA+.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the winner for the chip, storage and battery. The Apple iPhone 5 comes out on top for price, camera and design.
The devices are available with all carriers in the US. You can get the Apple iPhone 5 for around $199 on a contract of two years and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is priced at $299 with a contract of two years. T-Mobile are also to get the Apple iPhone 5, but you will have to pay the full price of around $649. if you are Indian then you can easily buy IPhone 16GB for 44500( INR) Rs. that is 813.82 in US Dollar.

i Phone 5S launch date | when will iphone 5S will be launched ?|

iPhone 5S Coming In August, iPad/iPad Mini Next Month

According to sources, Apple is set to release the next iteration of the iPhone in August. No name has officially been given yet, but chances are it will be called the iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 5S

Keeping in line with how the iPhone 4 was updated, the iPhone 5S will see a small bump in specifications. The iPhone 5 was thinner and lighter than it’s predecessor, yet larger overall. I don’t think the 5S will change as far as weight goes, but definitely a step up in processor speed is on the slate. Also rumored is a fingerprint reader, eliminated the need for passcodes.
A new camera is also rumored, the first upgrade to it since the iPhone 4. The camera in the iPhone 5 is the same as what was in the 4S, with just a smaller sapphire lens. Apple has really improved photo quality in it’s lenses, and another upgrade would be welcomed by all shutterbugs.
Also rumored are various colors other that black and white. We saw the new iPods available in multiple colors, and the 5S may follow suit.

iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2

Not to be left out, a refresh of the iPad 4 and iPad mini are also planned. We could see these new devices as early as April.
Starting with the Mini: a Retina display will most likely not make an appearance on the iPad Mini. In order to stay at it’s current price point, a Retina display is just not feasible. Users have reported being pleased with the current display. I tend to agree. I have no issues going from my Retina iPad to the Mini.
The next iPad, let’s call it the iPad 5 for now, is said to inherit the new look similar to the current iPad Mini. This is long overdue in my opinion, as the current iPad look is getting tired.
Will there be lines waiting for the next release of these devices? I’m not so sure anymore. There are some hot phones coming out this year, and a refresh of an old design in the iPhone 5 is not going to draw that much attention. The HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 are gaining traction and due to be released soon.
The iPad will continue to dominate however in the tablet space. There has just not been any offerings from other tablet makers that can compete.firstly it is showed in myandroidsoft.blogspot.com
Who’s getting ready to preorder??

in this picture there is two ipad in the left and one iphone 5S.
we hav not recived any pic of iPhone 5S still and we also dont want to see it fakely. So whenever it will be publish it wolud be published on our site.
thanks. have a nice day :)

Why & How iOS is More Secure Than Android?

Android Vs Iphone
How iOS is More Secure Than Android?

In 21st Century, cyber-wars have changed the paradigm of how internet and mobile technology in future will be vulnerable to security threats. Apple has always emphasized that iOS is safer to safest Mobile OS on earth, Google has also gone on roof-tops to say Android is safer, let us analyze Why &Â How iOS is More Secure Than Android, I will also be sharing some alarming stats if you are thinking that your data and privacy is safe with Phone in your pocket.

Today the most private and valuable info in Mobile are:

1. Your location
2. Your Likes and Dislikes
3. Your Contacts
4. Your Important Data and files
5. Your Financial Details

How iOS is More Secure Than Android?

Why is Android more Vulnerable ?

1. Due to its open platform writers are creating more malware for Android
2. Android allows un-verified third-party Apps to run on Android
3. The Security lapses in structure of Android are more
4. Experts have tested Android latest update JellyBean, iOS still wins

Last year, Android had 30,000 Malware vulnerabilities this year it saw a elevation to 175,000 malwares.

Why iOS is more Secure?

1. Apple told you, If you jailbreak you̢۪ll compromise your privacy and security, So your Security remains intact until and unless you use Apple Certified Apps on Apple App store.

2. Apps approved via Apple App Store, will not Spy your like/dislikes or your location to commercialize and capitalize on them.

3. The Architecture of iOS programming has been improving right from iOS 2 in terms of more firm security with developing threats.

4. The access control to the apps â€" Apple from the first day has emphasized on this, Late Steve Jobs, discarded all third party apps which are not approved by Apple, Experts used to pronounce it as monopoly then, lately, it has surfaced that those restrictions today give Apple users more Security than the Popular Android.

With iOS you know:

1. Your data is not being used
2. While your phone has internet connectivity no third-party App is accessing your credit card details, social media accounts or your important data

What's New In iphone Operating System 6 | iOS vs. Android Market Share 2013: Google Mobile Platform Dominating Apple Worldwide in March Figures

The month of March is not over, but statistics show the Android mobile operating system is trouncing Apple worldwide.
According to StatCounter Global Stats, Google's mobile platform has reached double figures ahead of Apple's iOS for March 2013.
With 37.16 percent, Android is topping the mobile operating system market share. The early March numbers do show an increase in usage compared to February, which accounted for 36.9 percent of the market share.

Apple's iOS saw a slight decrease in the mobile market share from 27.21 percent in February to 27.2 percent this month.
According to StatCounter's maps, the Android platform is widely used in China, Mexico, Russia, across South America, the Middle East, and most of Eastern Europe. Usage of Apple's mobile operating system is popular in Australia, Canada, France, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States.

In the U.S., the tables are turned in Apple's favor. The iOS market share reached 52.44 percent this month while Android accounted for 40.05 percent. Series 40, BlackBerry OS, and Windows Phone rounded the top five, respectively with less than two percent.
The Android market share in the U.S. is not breaking news for companies such as Samsung. Samsung Electronics Co. CEO J.K. Shin told the Wall Street Journal about his company's position in the country.
"Innovation is what will get consumers to buy new devices. I don't dwell on market share numbers, but I'm not satisfied with our market share in the U.S," said Shin.
The Samsung CEO, however, still considers the South Korean-based organization as a "global player" in both the smartphone market and as a global company. In ios Tech giant Apple has added a new level of security to iCloud and for Apple ID users. The new two-step-verification will require users to verify their identity when they sign into account from a new device.

Verification will be done using another one of users' devices, such as iPhone, Mashable reports.

For example, if you buy a new computer and sign into iCloud on it, Apple will send a numerical code to your iPhone to verify that it is in fact you trying to access your account.

The extra level of security makes it more difficult for hackers to gain access to your account, the report said. If your password falls into the wrong hands, the new system is a roadblock preventing that person from signing in and accessing your data, it added.

Samsung is about to launch new Galaxy Smart Phones | Samsung upcoming mobiles | Samsung planing to upgrade five devices to Android 5.0

Android is a constantly moving target for devices. The Android device you buy today will inevitably be running an old version in just a few months time. How important that is depends on the individual, but if you use a Samsung smartphone or tablet, you’ll be interested to know that a list of planned Android updates has just leaked, including which devices can expect to receive Android 5.0.
The pre-list, as it’s known, has been leaked to SamMobile by an insider. It shows which devices can expect to receive an update to Android 4.2.2 and the inevitable Android 5.0.
The just unveiled Galaxy S4 is set to ship with Android 4.2.2, but Samsung is planning to upgrade 17 devices to the current latest version of Google’s OS. Those devices include:

  • GT-I8160 – Galaxy Ace 2
  • GT-I8350 – Galaxy Beam
  • GT-I8730 – Galaxy Express
  • GT-S6810 – Galaxy Fame
  • GT-I9080 – Galaxy Grand
  • GT-I9082 – Galaxy Grand DUOS
  • GT-N7000 – Galaxy Note
  • GT-I9260 – Galaxy Premier
  • GT-I8190 – Galaxy S III mini
  • GT-I9070 – Galaxy S Advance
  • GT-I9100 – Galaxy S II
  • GT-I9105 – Galaxy S II Plus
  • GT-S6310 – Galaxy Young
  • GT-S6312 – Galaxy Young DUOS
  • GT-S7710 – Galaxy X Cover 2
It’s worth noting that for the above devices, that’s as far as Samsung expects to go in terms of updates. As soon as each one is running Android 4.2.2 the OS updates will stop. And by then, you’ll probably be looking around for a new device anyway.
Now we come to the unannounced Android 5.0. Samsung has decided that only variants of five of its existing devices will receive an update to Key Lime Pie. They include the Galaxy S3 $189.99 at Amazon Wireless , Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy 8.0, and Galaxy 10.1. In all cases, the LTE versions of the phones and tablets will get the update, as will the WiFi versions of the tablets.
As this is a pre-list that Samsung didn’t intend to make public, there’s every chance that the devices receiving updates will change before they are officially announced. But if Android updates are a major consideration when choosing to buy a new device, then one of the later Galaxy S smartphones or Galaxy tablets looks like a safe bet if you intend on investing now.
As for when we can expect to hear about Android 5.0, the safe bet is during the Google’s I/O developer conference held in May. By then, the Galaxy S4 will probably have been in the hands of consumers for about a month, and the question of when Samsung will roll out the Android 5.0 update is bound to be asked. It’s reassuring to see the company is already planning ahead.

Samsung Galaxy S4 vs BlackBerry Z10: Which Phone is Right for You?

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has finally been unveiled. But its debut comes just days before the BlackBerry Z10 is set to hit the U.S. So how do the two phones stack up?

Display
The BlackBerry Z10 has a smaller display, 4.2 inches to the Galaxy S4's 5 inches. But bigger isn't always better, as people with small hands will attest. However, the S4's screen is also much more detailed. It boasts a 1920x1280, 441 ppi display. The Z10 has a 1280x768, 356 ppi display.

Processor
These are a bit harder to compare, as it seems likely the Galaxy S4 will come in two different versions, each with a different processor, and we're not sure which version is for the American market (though it's likely the Qualcomm).

The S4 will have an impressive eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, though some versions may run a more standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, about equivalent to the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 in the BlackBerry Z10.

Storage
The Galaxy S4 has up to 64 GB on internal memory and an SD card slot that can accommodate up to another 64 GB. The Z10 has only 16 GB of internal memory, but the SD slot is the same as the S4. Few people need a ton of extra memory on their phone, so it's not that important.

Operating System
The Z10 comes with the totally revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system. Most reviews say BB10 is an excellent debut, and very polished for a first effort. BB10 also has fewer apps available than Android, and the ones that are on offer sometimes don't live up to the Android counterparts. But BlackBerry loyalists who miss BlackBerry Messenger should love its newly updated features, such as video calling.
The Galaxy S4 will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the latest current build. But Key Lime Pie is due out soon, so fans are hoping the S4 will be fast-tracked for an upgrade.

Camera
The Z10 has a typical 8 megapixel camera. It's good. The Galaxy S4 boasts a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and the ability to take photos and video with both cameras at the same time.

Price
The Z10 will cost $199 with a two-year contract on AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile. An unsubsidized, no-contract Z10 just dropped to $689. There's no word on the price for the Galaxy S4 yet, though $199 with a two-year contract is a possibility. But $249 or even $299 wouldn't be surprising either.
In the end, the BlackBerry has lucked out. The Galaxy S4 is more of a slick update to the S III, not a complete rebuild, so anyone with a S III now may not feel like they're really getting a new phone. While the Z10 falls short of the S4's specs in several places, most of the S4's bells and whistles aren't dealbreakers. And the Z10 is probably cheaper.
So if you're a BlackBerry loyalist from back in the day, or you just want to try something new, the S4 shouldn't prevent you from getting a Z10. If you want bleeding edge tech, the S4 is where it's at -- for now.

BlackBerry gets order for a million Z10 smartphones

Score one for BlackBerry. Or 1 million to be exact.
Days ahead of its U.S. launch, the Canadian phone maker said it received an order for 1 million of its new Z10 smartphone -- making it the largest single order in its history.
According to the Associated Press, BlackBerry, formerly known as Research in Motion, did not disclose who placed the order. The company did say, however, that it came from an established partner and that shipments would begin immediately.

BlackBerry has two new devices, the touchscreen-only Z10 and the Q10, which has a physical keyboard. The company hasn't said when the Q10 will launch in the U.S., but Verizon and AT&T have begun taking orders for the Z10.
The touchscreen Z10 will be available first to AT&T customers, who will receive it or be able to pick it up in stores beginning March 22. Verizon customers will be able to get one as early as March 28. Both companies sell the device for $200 with a two-year contract.
T-Mobile has also said it will sell the BlackBerry Z10 but hasn't announced pricing or availability dates for consumers. Enterprise customers, however, can already place orders for the phone from the carrier.
The Z10 runs on BlackBerry 10, the latest version of the company's operating system. BlackBerry hopes the new device can help it regain a strong footing in the U.S. smartphone market, which is dominated by Apple and Android devices.

| Tricks For Android | How to Boot ? | How to Change Linux to android ?|

Android (Rooted): Whether you're troubleshooting a problematic PC or you just prefer working in your own OS with your own tools, keeping a Linux boot CD or USB key is a great way to take a customized system with you anywhere you go. With DriveDroid, you don't need to bother with media, and can use the gadget you carry with you all the time anyway: Your Android phone.
DriveDroid will, once connected to your PC, boot your computer to any ISO file or IMG disk image that's stored on your Android phone. Whether you just like working in Linux whenever possible but find yourself using other systems with other OSes installed already, or you like the idea of keeping a rescue disc on your smartphone instead of on optical media, this handy app can help.

Before you install, make sure you have plenty of room on your Android phone—you'll need the space for the Linux distro that you plan to download, and for any USB drive images you want to create for storage or for portable tools you'll need while your computer is booted in Linux. Once you have some space cleared, here's how the app works:

  1. Connect your phone to your PC via USB
  2. Open DriveDroid and Select the Linux distro that you'd like to run. You can choose from the 35MB SliTaz (which the developer recommends because its so small), or more popular distros like Arch Linux, Gentoo, Crunchbang, FreeBSD, and more.
  3. Once downloaded, select the distro you'd like DriveDroid to host, and enable it.
  4. Reboot your PC. If you haven't already, make sure your BIOS is set to boot to USB devices before booting from the hard drive.

That's all there is to it. If you have your own ISO or IMG file that you'd like to boot, whether it's Linux or Windows, you can use that image instead as long as it fits on your phone. Just copy the image over to your phone and drop it into the DriveDroid folder so the app can see it. Then select it when you open the app, and reboot your PC.

Similarly, if you boot your system to an image, then customize that image with a blank USB image on your phone, you can turn that into a bootable image file and use that to have a completely customized linux distro that you carry around on your phone, complete with all of the apps and tools you need to get work done. Hit the link below to grab DriveDroid, and then visit the developer's website for more information and tips on getting Windows running using DriveDroid.

| All About Samsung GALAXY S4 | Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is unveiled on March 14 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The slim, feature-rich Galaxy S4 was introduced as Samsung’s new champion in the fiercely competitive smartphone arena, scheduled to roll out in 155 countries in late April.

First Samsung GALAXY S4 new image posted on http://myandroidsoft.blogspot.in/

NEW YORK — Samsung Electronics is ratcheting up its rivalry with Apple with its new Galaxy S4 smartphone, which has a larger, sharper screen than its predecessor, the bestselling S III.
Samsung trumpeted the much-anticipated phone’s arrival Thursday at an event accompanied by a live orchestra while an audience of thousands watched the theatrics unfold on a four-level stage at Radio City Music Hall. Summoning up a touch of Broadway, Samsung employed 17 actors to demonstrate the new phone’s features in a series of scripted vignettes.

The Galaxy S4, which crams a 5-inch screen into body slightly smaller than the S III’s, will go sale in the U.S. sometime between the end of April and the end of June.
In the U.S., it will be sold by all four national carriers — Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile USA — as well as by smaller ones US Cellular and Cricket. All told, Samsung plans to offer the Galaxy 4 S through 327 carriers in 155 countries, giving it a wider reach than Apple’s iPhone 5.
Samsung didn’t say what the phone will cost, but it can be expected to start at $200 with a two-year contract in the U.S. That’s comparable to the iPhone 5.

JK Shin, the executive in charge of Samsung’s mobile communications division, promised the money would be well spent for a “life companion” that will “improve the way most people live every day.”
That bold promise set the tone for the kind of flashy presentation associated with the showmanship of Apple, the company that Samsung has been trying to upstage. Apple contends Samsung has been trying to do it by stealing its ideas — an allegation has triggered bitter courtroom battles around the world.
In the last two years, Samsung has emerged as Apple’s main competitor in the high-end smartphone market. At the same time, it has sold enough inexpensive low-end phones to edge out Nokia Corp. as the world’s largest maker of phones.
The Galaxy line has been Samsung’s chief weapon in the smartphone fight, and it has succeeded in making it a recognizable brand while competitors like Taiwan’s HTC Corp. and Korean rival LG have stumbled. Samsung has sold 100 million Galaxy S phones since they first came out in 2010. That’s still well below the 268 million iPhones Apple has sold in the same period, but Samsung’s sales rate is catching up.
Research firm Strategy Analytics said the Galaxy S III overtook Apple’s iPhone 4S as the world’s bestselling smartphone for the first time in the third quarter of last year, as Apple fans were holding off for the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 took back the crown in the fourth quarter.
One way Samsung and other makers of Android phone have been one-upping Apple is by increasing the screen size. Every successive generation of the Galaxy line has been bigger than the one before. The S III sported a screen that measureS4.8 inches on the diagonal, already substantially larger than the iPhone 5’S4-inch screen. The S4’s screen is 56 per cent larger than the iPhone’s.
In a Wednesday interview, Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller declined to discuss whether Apple is considering enlarging the screen on the next model of the iPhone, which is expected to be released later this year. He said Apple remains confident that the iPhone 5 is the most useful and elegant smartphone available, hailing it as “the most beautiful consumer electronics device ever created.”
Samsung believes the S4 will set the new standard.
Apart from the larger screen and upgraded processor, the S4 has a battery that’s 20 per cent larger than that of the S III. Samsung didn’t say if that translates into a longer battery life — the added capacity might be gobbled up by the bigger screen or other internal changes.
The S4 comes with a built-in infra-red diode, so it can control an entertainment centre as a universal remote. This is a feature that has showed up in Android tablets before.
The S4 comes with several new technologies intended to help users interact with the phone. For instance, the screen now senses fingers hovering just above the screen, and some applications react. The Mail application shows the first few lines of an email when a finger hovers above it in the list, and the Gallery application shows an expanded thumbnail.
Users can control some other applications by making gestures in the air above the phone. In the browser, you can command the screen to scroll up by swiping from top to bottom a few inches from the phone.
The Camera application can now use both the front and rear cameras simultaneously, inserting a small picture of the user even as he’s capturing the scene in front of him.
When several S4s are in close proximity, they can link up to play the same music, simultaneously — perfect for headphone dance parties.

The Galaxy S4 also will include a tool that enables users to create a dividing line so part of the phone is devoted exclusively to work while the other part is filled with personal information and photos. The feature is similar to a function on the latest BlackBerry — an indication that Samsung is going after other smartphone makers besides Apple with its latest model.

The new features illustrate Samsung’s drive to make its phones stand out from the crowd of Android smartphones. Jan Dawson, an analyst with Ovum, said they could be seen as “gimmicks rather than game changers.”
“At this point, Samsung appears to be trying to kill the competition with sheer volume of new features — there should be something here for everyone, even if most of these new features won’t be used by most users,” he said.
While the event in New York was going on, Samsung Electronics Co. kicked off its annual meeting in Seoul. CEO, Kwon Oh-Hyun, told the audience that he expects slow growth in the global consumer electronics market, except in smartphones, where sales are still zooming.
